4th Edition Killed Gary

This T shirt appeared at the 2008 GenCon. And, while it was funny, I'm not sure if it was true.

I have not read the 4th edition rules (though I have glanced at them.) It is my understanding that the departure away from 3.x is to simplify (good) and let the play match the MMO expectation (read WarCraft).
