Subjective Opinion

As a former theater critic for OC Weekly I say I don't feel my opinion was more valid than anyone else's.

I just got paid $100 a pop to spout mine.

15 years later as a film reviewer for Bloody-disgusting.com I got $25 a pop.

The writer continues to be devalued...

On the other hand I get to be a "paid writer." And Red paid me piddling money for input into "Where Fools Dare to Tread" (but I came up with the title!), and, as I'm not the publisher, and was given designer credit, I forever get to claim I'm a "professional game designer."

At some point I'll look at the NYT list. I'm sure I never saw 900 of the thousand.

"The Long Walk" was good. So was "One Battle After Another."
