Message:Playing a rather brutal, gruesome content game (from Steam), called Worshiper of Cthulhu. Just started, barely getting specifics. Like had assigned a Robe maker and twenty minutes later clicked on him to find out he has no material (I need sheep first). Ordinary RTS stuff.
Got to a point where I got corn farmers, and I need other crafts. So I set up an HR and appoint a master of training, get some brochures printed. No, not quite. I had to carve into their backs a symbol of the thing they need to work (create). Some brutal Pictionary going on as I want a clam digger and made myself a fine bottle maker.
It's a game no one should play. Yet I seem to be enjoying the vicarious thrill of serving the Void. High learning curve (for me) since barbarity does not come naturally. But I seem to follow the logic of slowly burning a sacrifice to increase the suffering and chance of Tentacle Appearance.
If you want to bait a rat trap, it's best to flash burn the cheese on the trigger. (The things my Depression Era father taught me as a child.)
Yours,
IronRed
