Yes, a version of the artwork Comedian by Maurizio Cattelan, consisting of a banana duct-taped to a wall, was sold for $6.2 million at a Sotheby's auction in November 2024 to cryptocurrency entrepreneur Justin Sun.

This version was the fifth iteration of the piece, with the previous three having sold for $120,000 each at its 2019 debut at Art Basel in Miami.
