Modern writers do not understand pleasures of pulp & simple melodrama. Kid Intellects, today, think there has to be an underlining reason for actions. Good and Evil is meaningless to these kids; they think we are always both or worse always evil. Moral lessons are wasted on them (in our Age of Shoddy).
